I think this DVD deserves its own thread.
It's just great!
We missed the Fest last year, heard all about it, and this DVD absolutely takes the cake. Outstanding sound (the live sound problems that occured are almost inaudible here) and video of a unique performance due to the pedal steel, keyboards etc. Nice job by everyone concerned. In fact, I like it at least as much as the fantastic "Born to be Wilder" DVD.
There are a few copies available on the "Buy Stuff" page.
You might want to pick one up before they're gone.

So glad to hear it. I haven't had the guts to watch it yet! As regards the sound of the 2010 show, I think the DVD is mostly from Glenn's own mikes separate from the house which is where all the problems were THAT year. As I'm sure you noticed, this year the sound had no problems at least no one has mentioned any. Good to see ya there. Thanks! WW

Go ahead and watch that sucker, Webb. You'll be very pleased at the professional camera work, editing and sound. I reckon you'll see some mistakes etc that the rest of us wouldn't notice, of course, but it's easily the best "fan produced" video I've ever seen.
We were a little bit worried at the beginning as Tom's bass was almost inaudible, but it came through loud and clear starting with the second song.
Yes, the sound this year was very good. That's a powerful PA they have at the Capitol Arts as long as the sound man knows what he's doing.

At least get a copy of the DVD so that you can admire the fantastic photographs featured on the cover. That photographer is one talented fellow!

RE: Tom's bass on the first song, somebody had turned off the microphone Glenn had set up for Tom's amp! Glenn discovered it and turned it on before the second song. And yes, as Webb said, Glenn's mics were patched in before the house board, so other than a couple of feedback instances, none of the audio problems that night are evident on the DVD, fortunately!

I was so relieved that the sound was great again this year (thanks, Jeff Smith!).

Sorry, it was during the second song that Glenn turned the mic back on. You can see him do it at about 00:09:03. 8-)

Yes, everyone did do a great job on the DVD. I don't want anyone to think that I was trivializing anyone's contribution when I bragged on the photographer in particular. I was having a bit of fun. Many of you know he is my hubby!

And a fine Hubby he is too! He needs to get the credit for hauling around and using those Hubble Telescope Cameras at these events and taking pictures that are so detailed you can use them for DNA evidence. Tony is one of the finest people I know! And his wife isn't too bad either. That's just my opinion.

It was so great to see Tony and Susan and ALL the other Hard Core Webb Fans on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon of Webb Fest. I was moving pretty slow on those days but you guys got a lot of work done. What a fun bunch of people to hang out with!

Tommy, it is always great to see you and Patrice. Tony and I like hanging out with you two as well.

Tater, next year when you and the crew are reserving seats for the rest of us, you might need to label one seat "Tony," one seat "Tony's cameras," and one seat "Susan." I got rooted out by the lenses this year. Of course, I ended up with a better seat in the end (no pun intended), so I would like my seat in front of the side steps and underneath those big honkin' speakers back next year. Thanks.

I made the pilgrimage to that Webb Fan Fest V and it was well worth the energy. Could not make it this year. New Grandbaby & all than that entails. Daughter withdrawing from college. Father passed, taking care of my Mom. You understand.

We are all dealing with life. Keep Rockin'.

Susan. You are such a great security icon for all of us that I may tote a recliner in next year so you can really relax right up next to the stage!

Tater, did you ever see that episode of Seinfeld in which George felt sorry for the security guard who had to stand all the time, so he brought in a chair for the guard and the guard went to sleep while on duty? Do you really want a re-enactment of that episode at Webb Fest 7? Crazy drunk people would be climbing over me to get to Webb, and I would be sleeping as soundly as your little grandson does!

As long as the chair is strategically placed to block stage access, it won't matter if you take a short snooze once and awhile.

Just watched my copy of the DVD. Fantastic to see the full show and the sound on my Telly seemed really good! Esp. the wonderful baselines. Well done to all the production team.

It was funny to see the Stage 'Dancer' who was discused so much on the Webb Board last year. I don't know how the band kept a straight face! True Gentlemen.

Special thanks to the Swag Team for the fantastically swift delivery. As a Double DVD, Its the bargain of the year.

Still hopin to get to a Webfest......
