Great Tater, I didn't get a chance to look at it. I think I was in shock during the show, it was that good!

I bought a CD at Webb Fest that was made by Tom Comet and George Bradfute that consists of two songs:
1. I want my Statue; and
2. Two "B"s
Both songs are about Webb Wilder and they are both excellent. I am surprised they were not added to "About Time". I told Tom that his singing voice is reminiscent of a young John Lennon.

I agree with Tater in that Mr Comet's CD is top notch!!! And reading the list of instruments he played was most impressive. Is there anything the man does not do well????? And the vocals on "Two B's" kinda reminded me of an early Dave Edmunds. WELL DONE TOM!!!!!!!

I believe Tom and George got together during the recording of About Time and put together the basics of this cool project. The two songs about Webb are a riot and the performances and vocals are wonderful. Webb's Loving Public will get a big kick outa them as soon as they become more widely available.
There was a lot of cool stuff at the Fest...not to mention the fun, great people, beautiful theater, great PA and lights, enthusiastic crowd, and the fact that Bowling Green is a really nice place. I agree with Tater when he says the band always finds a way to put something extra into these WebbFest shows. Not everybody HAS their own Festival, ya know, and Webb and the guys appreciate it.
Hell, it was worth driving to BG just to see the show Mr. Lester put on. The maracas were flyin'!
If you missed this one, that's really too bad.

Thanks so much for the kind words, gentlemen! We'll try to make the disc available soon for those who might be interested.
In answer to your question, T60, I'm a REALLY lousy dancer- just ask Amy!

Although I was adamant about my comments, I didn't quite mean to "say" it so many times. I was using my phone, and the touch screen went berserk.

I'm back from Disney World---we had a lot of fun!

I had a blast at Webb Fest this year. I was very pleased that the audio problems that plagued last year's show were addressed (thanks, Jeff Smith!). It was great to see everybody, even though there's never enough time to really talk at length.

For those of you who bought the DVDs of last year's show, I hope you enjoy them! John did a fantastic job of editing together the *7* different cameras that were rolling that night, and I think the DVDs turned out well.

And a special nod to Tom Comet's CD-R Single that Tater posted about. Great songs and great fun! And as an aside, Amy actually did tell me earlier that evening that Tom is a lousy dancer!

Looking forward to next year's show already....
