As some of you know, I was involved in a car accident when I arrived at the theater, so I missed most of it, but what I did see and hear was very good, and much needed by us. Also, from all the comments afterward, by other fans and band members, it was a great evening. Very sorry I missed some of the special song selections from Webb and the guys, especially Sampson & Delilah- would have been fun to get in on that.

No one got hurt in my auto mis-adventure, so that's a blessing, and it's maybe not so bad to collide with a tow truck that wasn't out on a call! But mostly, I'm writing to thank the wonderful fans that come to the shows. Without you, I would have had a much worse experience.

So, Thank You to everyone who helped me with kind words, or a sympathetic hug, and expecially to Tater, who made sure someone could get Marsha and I back to the motel, and Tommy and Patrice, who took on that job. And to Tom and Amy, who chatted with me in the morning, and always know what to say to make things better, and for the poster and cd gift they gave to me.

And a huge huge Thank You to Roger and Curtis, who took us out for a hot breakfast on Sunday,and then gave us a ride 200 miles in the direction of home. I truly can't thank you enough, and your company was so pleasant, I would hitch a ride with you anytime! You are wonderful people. (also thank you for putting up with my non-stop chatter, I seem to talk alot when I'm freaking out)

Alot of things went wrong for me this weekend, but so many things went right too. I couldn't have been in a better place or with better people, when this happened.

If your getting your car repaired in Bowling Green, I'm sure Hunter, Bryan Locke or some of our wonderful friends there could steer you toward a good body shop or mechanic. Bless yer heart! Hi Linda, So Sorry for the first post unrelated to your story. New to the Webb Board...so of course I goofed it! I certainly did not intend to be unsympathetic to your situation.
I'm so glad no one was hurt in your accident, but what a bummer! I know that had to bring you so down, then to miss most of the show! Sounds like God had other plans for you Saturday night. I'm thankful the folks were kind and helpful & that they took care of you as they did. So glad you made it home safe! Take Care & Please accept my apology for the first post :-(

Linda, Tony and I didn't know about your plight until last night. If we had known, we certainly would have been glad to help out in any way possible. I am glad that you all are OK. The wait for the car to be repaired is very frustrating, though. Take care.

Linda, we were so sorry to hear about the accident. Getting hit by a tow truck is very dangerous so we were relieved that you were both unhurt. That sort of close call can really shake ya up, but at least you were surrounded by supportive friends! It was great to see you managing to enjoy the latter part of the show, and we were happy to help out a little bit.
Frankly, I hope the car is totalled so you don't have to worry about the repair job and getting it back home...
Please let us know how things work out.

Marsha and I appreciate all of you- she's a little bit new to this Webb Thing, and she was very impressed with all the kindness shown to us, as was I. Not sure if she'll ever ride with me again though....
