Wow! Good stuff. Lots I didn't know. I met Ry at Farm Aid in 1992. I figured he would blow me off pretty quick if I didn't "hook" him in the first line or so of our conversation so, I said "My aunt cut the original Elmore version of "Dust My Blues." That got his attention! We chatted for 15 minutes or so. He let me check out his #1 guitar and all. Very cool. Jas Obrecht used to do a lot of writing for Guitar Player magazine. Thanks, Glom! WW

	I just love to read about stuff like this, especially about one of my all time favorite songs. I had the pleasure of seeing Lil Ed and the Blues Imperials do a smokin' version of "Dust My Broom" and Hound Dog Taylor's "Give Me Back My Wig" 2 weeks ago. I had a grin for 3 days after!!!!

	Actually some of the post-Trumpet recordings did list it as "Dust My Blues" and it was probably done to avoid paying any royalties to Trumpet. When I get Big Joe's guitar back in a few weeks, you should think about recording a few Trumpet classics with it. Put a DeArmond on it and you could record with a drummer or a small group. Sumptin' to think about.
