Electrifying artis t& self proclaimed "last of the full grown men," Webb Wilder & his combo par excellence, the Beatnecks @ Nashville Tennessee's 3rd & LINDSLEY Sat. MAR. 5th, 2011 7:30 PM.
this is a splendid opportunity to hear these "burnin' gods of love" @ a time when Rock @ Roll is threatened by disco diva dillettantes, Rexall wranglers & "cloying mewlers of precious drek."
YES, these hoary, hulking brutes hammer out a heady blend of Rock AND Roll loved by so many but, purveyed by so few leaving audiences intrinsically enriched by their urgent utterings and musical ministrations. Naturally, icons immortalizing this event will be available @ same show in the form of CDs, DVDs, posters, stickers, T-shirts & caps while they last.

Webb's use of so many discriptive adjectives in this little promo is like an irresistible tractor beam pulling the Chandlers toward Nashvegas this Saturday. Since resistance is futile, we'll be there! We also bow to the will of the King(s)!

Sorry Nese - you are right - if I could go I might even ride with the Royal family of Kings.... but several things going on with the kids - finishing basketball - and baseball signups this weekend ... just not in the cards for the long trip and overnight stay. Being a Dad will ruin your concert life....LOL but I wouldn't change it for anything.
All Y'all have fun at the show.

It was another great performance by Webb and the Beatnecks. We enjoyed seeing the guys and Danna, Pam and Amy. I have some photos for Hunter I'll send in today. It was a fun trip with the exception of the speeding ticket less than 10 miles from getting back home. Ohio always has a special welcoming committee for those of us who travel out of state!
Nese won the accolades as the person who drove the furthest to see this show, all the way from Texas (what's that 83,00 miles?). We got to socialize a little with her, Mike and Dori, Susan and Tony and Glenn and Brenda. Here is the set list:
Flat out Get it
No great Shakes
Human Cannonball
Rough Rider
Hey Mae
She Don't Come Around
Lonely Blue Boy
Poolside
Wild Honey
One Tatse of the Bait
Hittin' Where it Hurts
Revenooer Man
Too Cool For Love
Don't Slander me
Who Will the Next Fool Be?
It Takes Time
Wine Spodee Odee
Baby Please Don't Go
Tough It Out
Encore:
Hoodoo Witch
Jumpin' Jack Flash
Thanks guys for another great show!

@ Webb...hahaha, that was a great bit.
Oh no, did I pass on the road adventures? Sorry to hear that Tater. Well, I do kinda have a travel story, somewhere in Music Row is my driver's license. It was very cold and windy and at one point it must have come out of my pocket when putting my hands in and out to keep them from freezing. But if you guys got some of that massive strorm, it's in the water system now! And when did Derek St. Holmes move to Nashville, how did I miss that? Anytime I'm on the other side of the river and Webb is playing not too far from my destination, I'm in. Was good to see everyone, but how come no one introduced me to Glenn and Brenda? It was a great show, thanks Webb and you awesome Beatnecks!!! 17 hours, you crack me up!
