Yes Goob it was a fantastic show on Saturday night. Good to see the whole crowd of Webb Heads, Susan, Tony, Christina, Gonzo Bill and family, and Frank. Goober of couse posed as Gary "Hack" since he was still stuck in the snow... got hit with that Bar bill too when he came in ... sorry Goob. My friends Rob and Tracy came with me and got Rob re-introduced to Webb and Tracy her first show.... both Loved it to say the least. Tony and Susan both had some fellow friends along - whose names I missed (all of them I believe are now regulars anyway), but we made up a pretty good group down front. I also saw my friends John P and David C in the crowd -- which was as packed a DH crowd as we've had in a while. Place was rockin thanks of course to the man in charge of all festivities -- WW and his band of Beatnecks.

The whole set list was awesome, but down near the end they threw in - Lover not a Fighter (with Who do you Love thrown in) which was initially not planned - and it really tore the house down. Also, while everyone including Webb, Joe V, and Tom were spot on - Jimmy really stole the show with some of the most slam bangin drumming we've seen from him in a long time. He told me after the show that he enjoyed himself as much tonight as he had in any other DH show in all the years past ... and it showed.

Thanks to the whole band for a great night - if you didn't make it then we missed you ... see y'all at the next 'en.

Yes, it was great to see many of the regulars at the Down Home Saturday night. Tony recruited Collin and his fiancee, Kristen, to come to the show, and Mike Rooney, a fellow teacher, and his son David sat with me. And, yes, Tony and I sat at different tables throughout the night, but that doesn't mean we are having marital problems already! We are so emotionally connected that our relationship remains strong in spite of the distance created by separate tables. Saturday night at the Down Home couldn't have been better. The show was fantastic, the nachos were delicious, the Killian's stayed cold, and the swag business was a rather lucrative one. Woot!

Thanks, everybody. Thanks so much for being our swag seller, Susan! BTW, do you remember the names of those venues in NC that David with Waggletone Records mentioned? One was near Morganton, I think? The other one is in Lake Lure. Thanks. WW

Webb, I know that one venue was Hog Wild, but when I tried to look it up online, I couldn't find it. What I will do is shoot an email to my new friends Mark and David and ask. Then I will get back to you. Tell Nancy not to worry. Her job is safe.

Thanks, Susan. You can always e-mail Nancy as well. Shouldn't be any "professional" jealousy! Besides your area of emphasis is merchandising, right? WW

Well, rats, Susan, you beat me to it.

I'd asked Tony Saturday night how married life was treating him, and if life seemed much different. When he said no, I noted that you two were already acting like an old married couple ... now sitting at different tables! :-)

Also noting he was camera-less, I figured he was now scared to ask you to help carry all that stuff ......

Tony said what??? He knows that the correct answer is, "Being married to Susan brings me greater bliss than ever before." We'll practice that response a bit more; he'll have it down pat the next time you see him.
