It's been kinda quiet the last couple of days, so I'll break the ice. Who's all gonna be at the Down Home next month?? Anybody know of any cheapo motels fairly close??? Yes, I am a tight arse!! Also, are advanced tickets necessary or just show up at the door??? Gettin' some new tires on the scooter in a few days then I'll be ready to go!!!

There is a Comfort Inn that has a rate in the neighborhood of $69. There is a Red Roof with a rate around $57. Tickets are on sale in advance. I always get mine early because Fridays are pretty full but Saturday shows are packed. You can mail a check to the Down Home and they will have your tickets reserved at the door. The address is on their website, www.downhome.com.

We're planning on riding to Johnson City with a couple friends. T60Hack may be riding down with us too. The Red Roof Inn has no pool but it is cheap and a nice place to stay.
