Can anyone direct me to some good food in downtown Nashville. Preferably something that can only be experienced in Nashvegas. I will be downtown on a Sunday night.

Rippy's BBQ is good, 5th&Broadway

While there we tried Ted's Montana Grill. Wasn't bad at all.

Known for their Bison Burgers. I never tried one but some say they are pretty good.

We went to a Ted's in Atlanta once. I was still drinking then, so I don't remember what I had. But I do remember it was very good.

Once, when we were in Nashville, we went to a "dive bar" just off West End, near downtown. The walls were garage doors, and in temperate weather, they could literally raise the walls for alfresco dining.

I had a rare flank steak; it was superb. Wifey had some sort of a Mexican dish. It, too was superb.

We recommend Scotch Eggs, Sausage N Batter, Beer Cheese Soup, Fish N Chips, Shepherd's Pie, and the Irish Sampler. Good stuff!

I would also recommend Jack's Bar-B-Que on Lower Broadway near Tootsie's Orchid Lounge.

Jimmy's jump/swing band also plays Sunday nights around 6:30 at Robert's Western Wear down on lower Broad.

I jumped off a swing once when I was a kid, landed right on the 'ol kisser.
