Great show last night in Louisville! Much better sound than the last Louisville show (Phoenix Hill Tavern in November). Webb and the band were top-notch, as always.

It was great to see Jim, Dolly, Mike, Dori, Gary, and Roger! And nice to meet CoopKitten, a woman I know from an Alice Cooper board. It's a small world!

Last time I saw Webb was here in Louisville back in 1989 at Uncle Pleasant's. It was worth the 20 year wait. The show was awesome and the band was in top form. Looking forward to Webb making another stop here in the River City SOOOOON!

Hunter, I should have introduced myself to you. Hope you got my message.

I got your message and replied, Mark. It would have been nice to meet you!

Webb's interview on WFPK can be downloaded from my Webb site:

In addition to a great interview (that covers new topics I've not heard covered before), Webb played acoustic versions of "She's Not Romantic" and "Come Around."

Thanks for the info Hunter. I will give it a listen.
Too bad we didn't meet each other. Perhaps next time.

Turns out that WFPK also posted an MP3 of Webb's interview:

Mine has a higher-quality encoding bitrate, though. ;-)

Unfortunately, Columbus is more than likely too far for me to travel to see Alice. I'm hoping for a show closer to me....

Enjoy it, Tim!

Webb and the Beatnecks put on another great show in Louisville, KY. Dolly and I got to sit with Hunter, Dori McCalvin (Mike was slinging SWAG), Roger from Pig Knuckle Arkansas, and Webb's buddy Roosevelt McKinthy (spelling error?), aka Gary from Nashville. Had a fine time and some great music! I'll send Hunter some photos tomorrow.

Tater, you and yer spuds rule! 1200 miles! Wow. BTW, it's Roosevelt McKinley. You know, TWO presidents are better than one. Mebbe someone would like to be Washington Taft? Those creative enough to draw one name from one arena of endeavor and another from a completely different one will find the rewards are endlessly enjoyable and boundlessly beautiful! Case in point: Buckwheat Cheney! Now, how 'bout Satchmo Eisenhower? WW
