I nabbed a setlist which somehow disappeared before I got out of the club. (??) Hmmm.... I'm hoping one of my good buddies got it. I did manage to get a pic with it- which I hope to post soon....Nevertheless -- all the songs both new and old were great. I think Mississippi Honky Tonkin' stole the set. Thanks for doing Slow Death and Hoodoo...both personal faves of mine! Excellent to see many members of the Webb family and the wives/girlfriends of our guys -nice to finally meet Danna & Pam, and good to see Amy again. I do believe Jimmy's wife was there as well, though I did not get to meet her. Hope I'll get pics posted soon! 3rd and Lindsley ROCKED!

Shut up, Abner. | I totally agree with you about "Honky Tonkin' (In Mississippi)!!!! It was awesome to have three incredible guitar players onstage at one time who didn't step on each other. Incredible!! Easily the highlight of the show. I thought Jimmy was gonna drive those drums into the ground. It was great to see all the "uberfans", Mrs. Comet, Mrs. Williams, and Miss Danna tonight in Music City USA! I always enjoy hanging out with y'all. More than anything, a HUGE thanks to Webb Wilder, Jimmy Lester, Tom Comet (RULES!), Bob Williams, and Joe V. McMahan for an outstanding evening of music. You guys are beyond the best in my book. Hope everybody stays safe going back home and that we all get together again soon.

You are what you is! | The Saturday show at 3rd and Lindsley was fantastic! The band was very tight, loud and energetic! It was a pleasure to see Joe on the stage and to hear the three great guitar stranglers at work on songs from the new CD. I have sent Hunter photos and one of them is a photo of the set list. I think they played all the songs on it except Who Will the Next Fool Be. It was good to see all the Webb Board members who were there and to see and meet some of the wives of the band members. You can definitely tell that these guys really shine on their Home Turf! Dolly and I got to spend a fun weekend with the McCalvins at their new second home by Cumberland Lake, ride our motorcycle, get brunt to a crisp by the sun (11 hours of riding in 2 days), to hear our favorite musicians and to buy 5 copies of their new CD. Thanks Webb, Jimmy, Tom, Bob and Joe. I think Dont Slander Me may become my new favorite Webb Song. The three guitars made that tune really stand out just like they did on Mississippi Honky Tonkin. Great Show, Great Time, Great People. Lastly, but not leastly, we got to sit next to Tony King who always makes a good show even better. I hope he sends in some of the nice pictures he took with his Hubble Telescope Cameras he had with him! He was in good hands Susan. Bill, it was good to see you at a show again. We hope to be at your cookout.

Instead I spent two days listening to arguments regarding such topics as government financing of food pantries, economic equality, and transportation safety/ counter-terrorism. I know that these topics are important, but that didn't make them less boring. Our bunch was in bed late Friday night and up way too early Saturday morning, and even though we were winding down fast and were ready for the long school bus ride back home, the awards ceremony was an hour and a half late getting started. We left Lynchburg, VA, and rolled back into the parking lot at JBHS at 12:06 this morning. I woke up at 1:30 this afternoon. Fortunately, the kids who went on the trip are some of the best kids we have at our school, so chaperoning was virtually effortless. I was glad to help out the debate coach. He always prefers to have a female chaperon on the trip to take care of any girl stuff. I was talking to Tony while we were waiting for the awards ceremony to start when he told me to hang on a second. Webb was then on the phone, so we chatted for a couple of minutes. Webb, I appreciate that very much. It meant a lot to me that you took a few minutes to talk with me. Tony told me all about the show; he said that it was perfect. I am not surprised. WW&BTNX never disappoint. I also appreciate the fact that so many people asked about me. You all are fantastic. Dori, Tony said he mentioned the house-hunting. I haven't a clue, either, what that means except that you get a house out of it. He did buy me some black Chuck Taylors from Famous Footwear in Opry Mills. Those are almost as good as a hunk of jewelry. Susan
