I noticed once before, but sitting up front the last two shows I had to mention it finally.

Webb gives the finger. I know he doesn't mean it in a bad way, but when he plays a B and one other chord I could not make out ( a D derivative?) the finger is obvious. Comes from having those big hands way up on the neck I guess.

It made me laugh.

Generally known as the "Bird" Chord.

Yeah, Tony King of Photos has several shots of Webb giving the finger. I wish he had aimed it at that table of drunks who wouldn't shut the hell up Saturday night. Of course, I guess he really couldn't do that--probably wouldn't be proper, considering the relationship of entertainer/ paying customer. I told them once to stop talking. That ticks me off. We pay to hear Webb and the guys, not to hear a bunch of loudmouths making asses of themselves. Whew! It felt good to get that out.

No, not unless Tater turned into a short, blond woman who can't hold her Bud Light.

Hey, Mike, aren't you supposed to be teaching the kids right now??? Yeah, the woman in red was embarrassed by her friends. She tried herself to shut them up and then gave me a reassuring wink when I attempted to get them quiet. She was very nice. Glad you enjoyed the show.

I usually turn into an overweight balding idiot when I drink (and when I don't), so it must have been someone else that night. Thank god!
