It was great to spend time Tater, Sweet Tater, and Miss Missy from Ohio at both the Webb Wilder show and the night before at the Station Inn seeing The Tennessee Mafia Jug Band. It was also great seeing Mike and Dori at 3&L. It was definitely the highlight of my holidays.
Webb and the Beatnecks were in fine form. While we missed Mr. Comet, it was a real treat seeing George Bradfute for the first time. It is no wonder he is called the "Tone Chaperone". He had a killer tone coming from that Fender Bass. Webb, Jimmy, and Bob were awesome as well. It is a lot of fun seeing musicians of this caliber play and have fun while they play. I will refrain from trying to remember the setlist. I think Miss Missy from Ohio got a copy of it so hopefully she will post it later.

You are what you is! | The Tater Clan had a great time in Nashville. I saw my first Blue Grass show with Susan and Tony on Friday night and we really enjoyed the Tennessee Mafia Jug Band. We checked out downtown Nashville on Saturday, window shopped at Gruhn Guitar and then linked up with Susan, Tony, Mike, Dori, and Roger from Indiana for the 3rd and Lindsley show. I like the bar and the food was good. We saw Glen and Brenda there and Joe Macmahan also came to the show. We did miss Tom Comet but like Tony said, George Bradfute was there and he is one hell of a Bass player. He played the Fender loud and got a fantastic sound out of it. Seeing Webb and the Beatnecks was the Christmas present to Dolly and me from Dolly and me. I'll send pohtos and set list tomorrow.

Sittin' on Fat Tires! | The McCalvins certainly did enjoy a late Christmas present by spending the evening with the aforementioned clan! The Chandlers including Miss Missy, the King/Davidsons and the now famous Roger (mentioned in song Sat night) are great to see WW and the Beatnecks with. Mr. Bradfute was a MIGHTY FINE fill in Beatneck! 3rd & Lindsley is always a great show and Sat. the guys left nothing in the bag. They rocked the house for almost 2 hours. We did miss Tom, have a safe trip back from Texas (and get Amy to a show soon, we miss her). We also missed Pam, Bob's missus. Webb, it was great to see Danna, hope she is able to join us Uber Fans again soon! 2008 was a super year, with the new album coming out soon, 2009 will be even better! Happy New Year to all!

I've already heard everything he has to say...
