Yep. I couldn't make it Friday night to Lucas House. Hope it was a heckuva good one. I hated missing it. I'm growing a nice collection of those Lucas House posters with Webb on them, and now I'm missing one.

The P.R. Gods gave me a Godsmack to the forehead, but on the other hand, keep your eyes peeled for your friendly neighborhood...well...me in the Feb. issue of St. Louis magazine.

Hopefully, Webb and the guys are going to be back this way a couple of times in 2009, and I'll make up for it then, with vengence. And I promise I'll keep my shirt on. However, at Webb fest...

Hope you all had a great time. See you soon!

Hey Chris, sorry you couldn't be there. We missed you.

We went to dinner at Tuckers with Mike & Dori (thanks!), the food was excellent and it's just a short walk from Lucas. We were pleased to see the downstairs filled for the Scattergun showing. Webb and the guys went on at 9:00 and played two long sets with a lot of highlights...I was especially impressed with Ju Ju Man and Jimmie Reed. It was a bit louder than usual despite the lack of "big amps" and Tom sounded great on his flashy gold bass, a gift from Amy. They ended up with Run Run Rudolph for the encore. Sorry, I didn't get a set list. The band was on fire, Webb was in fine voice and the crowd loved it. It was especially nice to see Debb and Dave, looking hale and hearty.

RIP Lucas School House, we have heard a lot of good music there but they are closing after New Year's.

Sounded like a great show TommyLee. Wished I could have made it. Good to hear Dave (and Debb) are doing well.

Wow. That's really too bad about Lucas. Dang. I really enjoyed that place (especially the no smoking!) Where to you think we'll see Webb and the guys when they return? I'm still a bit of a newbie when it comes to St. Louis.

The Lucas is toast? Aw man, I was hoping to check it out someday (not that I get to STL very often). But it got good word around here, and they'd had Webb play a couple of times a year for the last several. Sad to hear about that.

Future possibilities in St. Louis include Off Broadway (no smoking there), BB's Jazz Blues & Soups, and I guess the Duck Room at Blueberry Hill. If anyone has other suggestions please say so!
