Tony (and I by default) adopted a kitten from the animal shelter on November 13. Mollie Jane is a 3-lb, 2-oz calico and joins big sister, Pepper, and big brother, Snort. The family is growing! :)

When Tony saw Mollie Jane's picture in the paper, something told him that while all along he had said that two cats are enough he had to go get her (that and my threat to never speak to him ever again!). I am really proud of my soft-hearted, cat-lovin' boyfriend!

Ah, that's how I convinced my wife to get a second great dane. She works out of the home and our one dane was constantly begging for attention, etc. Our local rescue organization had a picture in the paper of a great dane up for adoption. At first my wife said, "No way. We will not even go and look at that dog, we don't have the room." Well, due to her sweet heart, and curiosity, we took a drive to Petco on Saturday afternoon. Within 30 seconds of my wife and Daisy locking eyes in Petco, we signed the adoption papers. It been a love fest ever since. By the way, we also have two cats, who have no problem keeping our two danes in line.

dang, Tony, there's still that cat in Kingsport that might mysteriously make its way to your house .....

That's how I talked my wife into letting me get the second motorcycle! Once she saw the picture of that cute little 1500CC touring bike, she was putty in my hands (or mashed taters).

Susan and Tony, That is sooo awesome! I can't wait to see pics. How is Pepper and Snort handling it? It is such a great thing to save a life. We have so many in our county alone that are put to sleep due to not enough homes. In Louisville, if every household wanted to adopt a cat or kitten they would each have to adopt 48 cats. Every household!!!! I guess that is why I feel so strongly about Spay/Neuter. Along with the health benefits it brings to your pet. Sorry to get on my soap box, I'll step off now.
