Subject: I've infiltrated the youth...
I just had to share this before I begin another grueling day at work. Each night when I put my youngest child (who is 5) to bed we talk about our day... Last night she asks me "What do you do at work?" and I begin to explain... then she asks "Do you get to go to WebbWilder.com?" and I tell her yes, sometimes. Then she asks me to spell it for her-- so we sound it out and I ask her why she wants to know. She then, rather indignantly, explains to me how her computer lab teacher wouldn't let her go to WebbWilder.com in class that day! The nerve! hahaha --

It gave me a well needed chuckle last night-- and of course I had to explain that we can only see Webb at home. I could tell that wasn't satisfying her -- and now that she is equipped with how to spell it, I could be a getting a phone call. See, he truly is the Idol of Idle Youth.

Have a great day guys!

Christina

This is one teacher who checks the Webb Board "religiously"--maybe a dozen times throughout the school day. I would be in tears if webbwilder.com was blocked or simply banned through our server. Great story. Christina, be proud if you get that call.

I check quite often during the day as well. I can't imagine not getting these few spots of happiness throughout my day.
My fifth graders know all about Webb Wilder and the guys. I consider it my duty as a teacher to mold their young minds. That includes exposing them to great musical influences....nuff said.

No calls as of yet :)

I don't think little miss is fortunate enough to have cool teachers like we have here on our board! ~Christina

And across the shirt hem have printed "www.webbwilder.com" so that she has a quick reference when she is in the computer lab. And print it upside down for convenience's sake.

>> show and tell
Now THAT's a great idea.

Give those kids a dose of something a helluva lot more substantive than what they're used to hearing on the radio, TV, etc.

Well, if Webb starts making classroom appearances....
SIGN me up! Could be a whole new area to be explored. I can just imagine how my fifth graders would react to a live performance by the guys. I am sure I could link it into my curriculum somehow.

Yes omatic- I'm in the Halloween spirit myself. I try not to be too witchy on a regular basis... though some would beg to differ I'm sure!

As for little miss (Keira) - I think I'll pass on the tattoo for her. But I like the shirt hem idea...and she's just crafty enough to do it.

Personally - I'm all for the show and tell with Webb!! He'd have to let Keira sing w/ him though :-)

Now where can I find kid-sized Webb shirts?
