I have often thought that if I won the lottery, I would have a private Webb show for all my friends. And we did! Rain conspired to keep most home I guess. It was not lack of advertising as there was a color ad in the paper and a feature in the weekly food and culture mag for Macon. (We got a copy).
That is the closest I have ever sat and the band was as tight as I have ever seen them in any configuration. The new songs were great as well. Juju Man is a keeper. You really impressed my parents, especially my Dad, with "If You're Looking For a Fool", the Mississippi Honkytonk song and the Charlie Pride song. Two new fans there.
Nice meeting you Roger, we missed you Nancy, thanks for the chat Bob, hope I ran the credit card right Tom and thanks to Webb for still giving it your all despite the small crowd. That really showed me what you are all about and why we keep coming.
The Critchfield Family (minus Flake who was up to the eyeballs with art projects for school).
