I've tried to post since the Ellington Show, but it just wasn't in the bones. So without any further hesitation I'll give it a shot. Mistah Snake he dead, but so fondly remembered Saturday Night. His name was mentioned many times, many good Snake stories were told. He was a very capable man, capable of many things, yet one thing he seemed to be incapable of was harsh words towards or about anyone. I miss him so much, miss his knowledge of music, his humor, his understanding. Mistah Snake, satisfaction guaranteed, no warrenty needed. Mistah Snake attended the show Saturday, in spirit. Webb payed and played tribute to him. What a fantastic show. I think I saw Mistah Snake in that Long Black Limo, or was that him walking with Jimmy Reed, musta been. He always spoke so fondly of all the beatnecks, Why Mistah Snake new more about the Beatnecks than The Beatnecks new about The Beatnecks. Mistah Snake wore shabby clothes, but he don't care, just speak to em, you'll see how compfortable he was in his own skin. Mistah Snake always wore glasses with one lens broke out, but he'd just say thats my good eye. So ya'll keep a good eye out for em, I'm sure he'll be at all the WW shows. Rock Hard Old Man.
