Subject: Will Webb Ever Move West ?
I've seen Webb an untold number of times since 1996. And every time I feel I've become a " fuller grown man." I moved to Nevada and was sure the " Nashvegans " would visit. C'mon, Webb, even Batdorf & Rodney play Reno. Get some movement west of Austin & Kansas City ! You've got fans out here !

please webb dont ever go to Reno-- I had a dream that you went there and were attacked by fire ants and someone stoled your cell phone. Nevada in general is bad ju-ju. You should try to organize a gig in Finland if possible--have u ever played there before. I saw Buddy Blue there--they loved him

Reno is a real nice place with many interesting places to visit. So is Burlington and Cropville. We always enjoyed driving there and having a steak with a baked potatoe and a salad with either tea or a soft drink of our choice. I believe they wrote a song about Kansas City that was a pretty good one but you just don't hear it played on the radio as much as you used to. Guess that's just a sign of the times as much as anything else. Not much else going on around here but we're going to watch TV in a little while.

I wish he'd come to California - I know places in the Bay Area he could play.

We're still waitin' out here in Oakland! You're hittin' us where it hurts. Just get out here and the rest will take care of itself. Don't stay on the safe side. If you don't know we think you're #1, you're full of #2. You played "Slim's" in San Francisco in the early 90's, and we've been asking ourselves 'is this all there is?" ever since. We feel like we've been lost in the shuffle; like we're on a rocket to nowhere with you over here on the west side. Do you know something that we don't know?

Webb, thanks for explailin' things. I never considered GAS. ( I walk to work.) I thought maybe it was the lyrics to Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues " ( a track that I'm sure will be on the " Deluxe Full Grown Edition " of " Town & Country " ) that caused you concern about Reno, or coming west of the Pecos. " I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die...." We're waiting on you. Hell, I'd drive to Denver to see you, as soon as gas is under four bucks. From the sounds of it, I guess you'd drive to Denver to see me, too, if the Saudi Prince would send his limo around for you and the band.
