I believe it was a 1967. Sold it years ago. There were two different Trini Lopez models. One looks like an ES 335 with a six on a side headstock and diamond shaped instead of f-holes, the other (like the one I had) is more like a "Trini-ized" Gibson Barney Kessell. Gene Cornish of The Young Rascals always played Barney Kessells. WW.

Thanks Webb ! | |

Guess "Lemon Tree" was a big deal, huh? FYI, Gibson is now making a guitar very reminiscent of the Trini Lopez Standart. It's the Dave Grohl signature model. WW

On Saturday, April 26th, 2008 at 11:51AM Webb Wilder (a member) replied: Webb Wilder Member Since: July 2003 | In 1965 (the year they started really crankin' out Trini Standards) Gibson reduced their traditional 1 and 11/16ths (since returned to it) nut width to 1 and 9/16ths on most if not all of their models. It's pretty tight in the first position for a number of years there. Fender may be (often, certainly not always) skinnier higher on the neck but, to answer your question..."more so." WW
