ANYWAY, we ARE still rockin'! This Friday, 8/25/2017, finds my stalwart companion, Tom Comet and myself treading the boards at Puckett's in Murfreesboro, TN, in a Dew-Oh configuration. Just me and him. Should be fun. The food is great. You might want to make a reservation. I know the one in Franklin is that way. THEN on Sunday night, 8/27/2017, I will be up in Worthington (think Columbus), Ohio, for a writer's in the round kind of thing, with the fantastic Marti Jones and Don Dixon. After wrapping up a whole tour's worth of opening slots for Dave Mason as a duo, Don went on to do a whole bunch of summer shows as bassist with Mary Chapin Carpenter and now they are back doin' their dew-oh thang. They are great at it too! Not to mention that they are two of the nicest folks I have had the pleasure to run across in the Monkey Business. Or in the words of Ed Sullivan, "fine decent youngsters!"

"The List" will air on WMOT Roots Radio 89.5 FM/rootsradio.com as per usual on Friday, at 2pm Central, and again on Saturday at 7am Central, with yours truly hosting this two hour Americana radio chart show, chock-full of nothin' but NEW music! Tune in and check it out!
Lots more coming up, including a Song of the Mountains concert taping at the Lincoln Theatre in Marion, VA, with Jim Lauderdale, Sherman Holmes and Judy Marshall! The concerts are taped for broadcast across America on Public Television. There is even more, but, just like Laura Dern who appears in the new Star Wars movie, Twin Peaks, etc. ... I can't say anything about it just yet. Trust me! Some cool stuff is in the works.
