After repeatedly missing shows by Webb in my area and in nearby cities for the past two years, I've bought tickets for this Labor Day weekend show in Marion, Virginia. I've always wanted to attend a taping of this show and Webb's appearance makes it even better. Webb's music doesn't seem to quite fit with the sounds usually featured on SOTM; maybe they are expanding their range. In any event, I'm really looking forward to it.

What a great evening last night at the Lincoln Theatre. I had never seen Webb solo before and he really delivered the goods. Can't wait to see to see the telecast of this edition of Song Of The Mountains. It was also good to see Webb fans making their fandom public--in addition to my own WW t-shirt, I counted three other fans wearing them, two of whom I exchanged "nice shirt" compliments.
